Dean and Dan Caten, two twin brothers from Toronto, began their journey in the fashion world at Parson's School and Design in New York in 1984. Eight years later, the twins moved to Italy to begin their journey toward creation. their own brand.

In 1995, the duo presented their first collection for men under their brand Dsquared2. Now their collections are produced in Italy and hence their motto, Born in Canada, Made in Italy.
